“M” is for morning …

Written by  Administrator

“M” is for morning … as in Easter morning, as in the time for mourning is over!

As I rode my bike the other day, I noted that the sun was rising before 7:00 am and there was a good chance that it would rise very close to the start (6:30) of our Easter sunrise service this year.  A nice touch!

Easter was more than just the beginning of a new day; it was the first morning that brought to light God’s new creation.  Jesus walks out of the tomb into the light of a new day and invites us to walk with him in the resurrection light.   In his light, it does not matter if the sun is shining or if the skies are filled with clouds.  After Easter morning, all life is painted with a glorious promise – it is truly magnificent!

“M” is for morning.   Easter makes every morning an Easter morning.  As the Psalmist might have written:

This is the morning, that the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it!
