You can expect to be involved in a common worship pattern each week. At Advent, each week we gather as God’s people. We are encountered by God’s word. We share a meal at the Lord’s Table. And at the end, we are sent out into the world forgiven and renewed. Thus, worship at Advent is really not about what we do, but about what God is doing and our response to God’s action.
You can expect to be involved in God’s amazing activity of making you and the world whole. Worship and life go together. Worship is the work of all of the people, not just a few leaders. Therefore, worship at Advent is participation with God rather than entertainment by others.
You can expect the option of being able to worship at 8:30 or 11:00 each Sunday during September through May. Each Sunday at 9:45, you have opportunity for Fellowship (coffee/tea/conversation), Adult Forum (Discussion for adults), and Sunday Church School (Children).

You can expect to be involved in a worship experience that matters. At Advent, worship lies at the heart of how we understand our life together. You will be welcomed. You will be provided a worship folder so you can comfortably participate. Professional child care is available if that would make your worship time more comfortable for you.
