MAY & JUNE 2025
We begin our Spring / Summer worship schedule on May 4, continuing through September 7.
With Easter being later this year, the Sundays of Easter continue through May, with Ascension Day on Thursday, May 29, and the seventh and final Sunday of Easter on June 1. Then follows the third major festival of the Church Year, Pentecost, on Sunday, June 8. The first Sunday after Pentecost is always dedicated to the Doctrine of the Trinity, God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. The rest of the season after Pentecost, which continues through Christ the King Sunday in November, is often referred to as "Ordinary Time," not ordinary as in nothing special but rather "Orderly Time," with lessons and topics in roughly the order they occur in Scripture.
