Christmas

You can glance at this list to see what’s up for this next Sunday, or read through for a sense of the flow and movement and meaning in our Sundays and seasons in the church.

SEPTEMBER & OCTOBER 2025

We conclude our Spring / Summer worship schedule on September 7, which is also God's Work Our Hands Sunday. On September 14, we resume our Fall / Winter worship schedule.

We are in the season after Pentecost, often referred to as "Ordinary Time," not ordinary as in nothing special but rather "Orderly Time," with lessons and worship themes in roughly the order they occur in Scripture. This season is "interrupted" by several festivals along the way, such as the Commemoration of Sts. Peter and Paul (June 29), Reformation / Confirmation Sunday (October 26), All Saints' Sunday (November 2), and concludes with Christ the King Sunday (November 23), the last Sunday of the church year..
