God's New Creation
Vacation Bible School
Monday through Friday, August 5-9, 2024
9:00 am to 12:00 noon
For children ages 3 (must be potty-trained) through entering 5th grade.
During VBS we will learn about the many ways that God’s creation works together for the benefit of all. We will also learn about ELCA World Hunger, an important ministry of our church. ELCA World Hunger works with people in the United States and in other countries to ensure that everyone has enough to eat, a safe place to live and the things they need for a healthy life.
Each day we will meet a new animal and learn how that animal helps our neighbors through projects our church supports. Some animals will be familiar, but some might be a little different from what we expect. Each day we will gather as a large group before dividing into small groups. Each day of "God's New Creation" offers large and small group activities, crafts, games, music, snacks and more!
VBS Important Information
- For children ages 3 (must be potty-trained) through entering 5th grade
- August 5-9, 2024 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 Noon
- Registration and $10 per child donation is due by August 1
- Extended care is available Monday thru Thursday until 3:00 PM. Extended Care is a fundraiser for Advent's Youth Fund. Monetary donations will be accepted for extended care. Thank you for your generosity.
- VBS Registration and Extended Care Donations can be paid online here or mailed to/dropped off at Advent Lutheran Church (470 Landis Road - Harleysville, PA 19438).
