Our youth are very active in our congregation - serving in worship, helping with the property team, sharing their musical talents, organizing fundraisers and serving on our synod's youth leadership team. Our youth groups focus on doing service, social, and spiritual activities throughout the year and friends are always welcome!

ALL YOUTH NIGHTS for youth in 5th-12th grades are held once a month on Sunday evening from 6 to 8pm. We always have a theme meal and then the rest of our time is spent doing a social, a service and a spiritual activity. Friends are always welcome!

BEAR CREEK CAMP

Many of our youth spend a week at Bear Creek Camp during the summer. Bear Creek Camp is a ministry of the Southeastern and Northeastern Pennsylvania Synods of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA). Located on nearly 3,000 acres in the beauty of the Pocono Mountains, Bear Creek Camp offers year-round opportunities, including summer residential youth camp, nature day camp, environmental education programs, weekend camp retreats and outside group rentals. Bear Creek Camp’s residential program, for all children who have completed grades 1-12, is a traditional camp program centered on spiritual growth, outdoor living and small group development. Each age group experiences a mix of small-group and all-camp activities throughout their week to meet their group’s spiritual, social and developmental needs.

YOUTH RETREATS AND GATHERINGS

Our 7th and 8th graders attend our synod's Junior Youth Gathering in the fall.

Our 7th through 12th graders attend The Tuscarora Lutheran Youth Retreat in the spring.

Our 9th through 12 graders can attend the ELCA Youth Gatherings - held once every three years - and other ELCA-sponsored youth events. The 2024 ELCA Youth Gathering will take place in New Orleans, LA.
