Christmas

You can glance at this list to see what’s up for this next Sunday, or read through for a sense of the flow and movement and meaning in our Sundays and seasons in the church.

JUNE & JULY 2023

The season of Pentecost, following Holy Trinity Sunday which is always the first Sunday after Pentecost, is often referred to as "Ordinary Time." This does not mean "ordinary" as in any way humdrum or uneventful; indeed many important events and teachings recorded in the Scriptures are addressed during this time. Rather it refers to a time when events and lessons are dealt with in roughly the order in which they appear, an "orderly" walk through the Gospel. With a few exceptions, this continues until the start of the new Church Year with the beginning of Advent in November.
