Christmas

You can glance at this list to see what’s up for this next Sunday, or read through for a sense of the flow and movement and meaning in our Sundays and seasons in the church.

JULY & AUGUST 2025

We continue our Spring / Summer worship schedule in July and August, through September 7. (Yes, the Sunday after Labor Day will still be on the Spring / Summer schedule.)

We are in the season after Pentecost, often referred to as "Ordinary Time," not ordinary as in nothing special but rather "Orderly Time," with lessons and topics in roughly the order they occur in Scripture. This season is "interrupted" by several festivals along the way, such as the Commemoration of Sts. Peter and Paul (just passed, on June 29), Reformation Sunday (October 26, also Confirmation Sunday), All Saints' Sunday (November 2), and concludes with Christ the King Sunday (November 23), the last Sunday of the church year.
