Social Distancing and Covid-19

At Advent, we have decided that our actions are not going to be based on "what is legal," but rather, what is medically wise, socially responsible, and living out our Christian call to love our neighbor. With that focus, we have made the decision to continue our online worship service as the primary Sunday morning worship service. Starting in December 2021, we have returned to indoor worship and activities; please see our Worship page for further details. However, there will continue to be restrictions on building use, including the requirement that everyone must be masked when inside the building.  Most meetings will continue to be conducted online or in hybrid mode for the near term.

We will continue to plan indoor and outdoor (weather permitting) events, with distancing and masking requirements as necessary, going forward through the winter months of 2021-2022. Ministry continues. We  will continue with online worship and virtual groups meeting for study, discussion, and community. We have callers contacting members and friends of Advent each week. Our staff are active and present, working both onsite and remotely, and available for email and phone calls.

Our online worship service is available on YouTube every Sunday starting at 8:30 am.  If you can't join us live, that's it when you are able; it is available to join in progress, restart, or stream at your convenience.  Click here for our full YouTube Playlist for Worship. This link provides access to all of our streamed worship services.  Our weekly communications, various resources for food, mental health, and more are available on our Member Area.
